Kelly Richey Band
Music - Rythm and Blues, Rock
Buoyed by critical praise and fiercely loyal fans, The Kelly Richey Band tours extensively, bringing their electric live experience to venues throughout the US. The attention surrounding this power trio has centered on female lead guitarist Kelly Richey and her dynamic stage show and has earned her comparisons to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan while gaining her a place on stage with blues legends, Albert King and Lonnie Mack. The experience provided by The Kelly Richey Band is an absolute stand-out on the club circuit: unlike any other act on the scene today. What sets Kelly Richey apart is the passion of her live performance as she explodes on stage. Being hailed as "Jimi Hendrix trapped in a woman's body with Janis Joplin screaming to get out", Kelly lures every audience into the fire with her guitar as she cranks out searing leads, throws her guitar behind her head and later, grabs the closest beer bottle to play slide. Equal to her guitar slinging abilities are Richey's uninhibited, yet polished vocals. With a timeless sound and phenomenal talent, The Kelly Richey Band will indulge and impress any music lover and leave them wanting more. "...Such adventurous extrapolations are exactly what's required if the blues genre is going to have anything new to say in the next century." -LA Weekly
"...She makes her guitar alternately weep, wail and scream, while vocally it’s hard to miss the large dose soul seeping from nearly every note that escapes her lips." -Cincinnati City Beat

Wendy May an'r Lost Dogs Band
Music - Pop, Country, Country Rock, Blues undertones
“Wendy May's sweet, Southern sounding voice comes through these rootsy ditties like sunshine breaking through rain clouds. Not that her songs are cloudy, mind you. May's music leans heavy on the Country Rock while infusing blues undertones and plenty of boogie-woogie bits".

Amanda Jones
Music - Pop, Rock
All-girl band, Amanda Jones was formed by Teresa Anderson in late 1997. The girls are from Atlanta, Georgia and have been performing in the Southeast for the last two years. Their brand of pop/rock has been well received by their audiences, particularly teens, as well as press and industry alike. The girls pride themselves on their musicianship and strive to be known as not just a babe-band but a babe-band who can really play and has good songs!  The music deals with the typical love song and break-up song scenarios, being the brunt of gossip, self-image issues, to the loss of a friend to suicide.  The girls recorded their first independently produced CD, "Voices" in early 1999 and it was released that summer. Amanda Jones has had a cut, Don't Look, as the title track to the PBS American Girl Documentary Series "Smile Pretty" and also included in "Run Like a Girl."  They have showcased at the Atlantis Music Conference, performed at the Music Midtown mega-event and appeared on the Jenny Jones Show where they won the band competition. Amanda Jones is striving to receive a recording contract and take their career as far as
possible.

Lava Baby
Music - Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative, New Wave
Check out Lava Baby’s new CD "Big Muff"! The title may tickle the fancies of dirty minds the world over, but it's merely a nod to Robyn's favorite guitar effect pedal (the "big muff") which fuels the album's tough-chick abrasion. Lava Baby recall the drive and abandon of seasoned favorites as The Go-Gos and Veruca Salt while keeping their heads up with the pulse of modern impresarios such as Garbage, No Doubt and The Donnas. Lava Baby has an immense, grassroots following -- one not sprung from the standard chumming of major label taste making, but rather from the impressive intensity, and universality, of their music itself. Their debut release, In the Right Place, initially distributed free via website inquiries and at local live shows -- found high praise in magazines as diverse as the Village Voice and Billboard (whose Larry Flick queried, "Why a major label hasn't roped a butterfly net around these spunky divas-in-waiting remains a mystery."), all the way to Teen Beat and Cosmo Girl. This summer an opening slot on ex-Kink, Dave Davies' solo tour along the East Coast has further solidified their diverse following. In addition, Lava Baby was approached by VH-1 for two new shows. The first, a pilot for up-and-coming bands titled "Breakthrough," the band agreed to tape, and the other, "Bands on the Run," they decided to pass on.  Recently, Lava Baby have secured licensing on MTV's "Extreme Challenge" series, enjoyed multiple features on the Metro Channel and have just begun their DIY radio assault with acoustic performances and interviews on WFMU and WLIR (with many more to follow)!
