Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival 2011
Oregon Food Bank Presentation
A record for Oregon Food Bank!

This year's Waterfront Blues Festival was smiled upon by the weather Gods giving us beautiful 80ish degree weather and not one drop of rain. The music and weather brought out the masses and donations reached a record $726,000.00 and 95,000 pounds of food for the OFB. Way to go blues fans!

Something Familiar, Something new ...

Rosie Ledet

One of our favorite WFB acts is Zydeco Sweetheart, Rosie Ledet. Rosie always brings her "A" game and this year was no exception. Always a crowd pleaser she can really get the audience going and leave them wanting more. Rosie is among the few zydeco artists who still writes and sings some of her own material in Creole French. http://www.rosieledet.net

Lisa Mills

A newcomer to WFB is southern dynamo Lisa Mills. As charming as she is talented, singer/songwriter Lisa Mills will grab your attention right from the start with her big voice and adroit guitar work. Her first CD "Blues and Ballads" landed her a 3 year stint with Big Brother & The Holding Company. Comfortable on stage alone or with a band, Lisa is sure to put a smile on your face. http://www.lisamills.com
